A Defesa Civil de Belo Horizonte emitiu neste sabado (1º) alerta para a possibilidade de ocorrência de fortes chuvas e rajadas de vento na capital mineira. O alerta é de chuvas variando entre 30 milímetros (mm) a 50 mm com raios e rajadas de vento em torno de 50 quilômetros por hora (km/h) e é válida até 8h de domingo (2).
Segundo a Defesa Civil, também há a possibilidade de fortes chuvas na região metropolitana da capital. De acordo com o órgão, o tempo segue instável no estado, com a ocorrência de pancadas de chuva a qualquer hora com raios e rajadas de vento ocasionais, especialmente no Centro, Noroeste e na Zona da Mata.
O boletim da Defesa Civil divulgado neste sábado diz ainda que a chuva tende a reduzir no Norte e no Vale do Jequitinhonha, uma das regiões que foram muito afetadas com o acentuado volume de chuva ao longo de todo o mês de dezembro.
Até o momento, as chuvas deixaram 12.783 desalojados em todo o estado. Seis pessoas morreram, 3.017 estão desabrigadas e 124 municípios declararam Situação de Emergência.
Tocantins
No Tocantins, subiu para 399 o número afetados pela cheia dos rios, segundo o mais recente levantamento da Defesa Civil, divulgado neste sábado. O número diz respeito às pessoas que precisaram ser retiradas das próprias residências, desalojadas, desabrigadas e ou que ficaram ilhadas, mas estão em segurança.
Até o momento, são 105 pessoas desabrigadas e 86 desalojadas. Mais 173 pessoas precisaram ser resgatadas ou retiradas de áreas de risco, mas não precisaram de abrigo público.
As cheias atingiram os municípios de Paranã, Rio dos Bois, Pedro Afonso, Tupirama, Tupiratins, Palmeirante, Bom Jesus, São Sebastião, São Miguel, Sampaio e Itaguatins.
A Defesa Civil do Tocantins também informou que uma pessoa morreu: um homem que tentou atravessar a nado o Rio São Domingos, na zona rural de Arraias, e acabou não conseguindo. O corpo foi localizado pelos Bombeiros no final da tarde de ontem.
