Um dia todo mundo vai morrer né, e eu queria me divertir” afirma Fernando de Arruda, que já está se preparando para voltar a vender picolé pelas ruas de Baixo Guandu, ofício que lhe garantia o sustento.
Só estou esperando esquentar um pouquinho, neste frio vender picolé é difícil”, afirma Fernando, que acrescenta não sentir vergonha de voltar ao velho ofício. Mas como Fernando conseguiu com pouco mais de 30 dias gastar R$ 71 mil? Ele não se esquiva em responder: “Era churrascada todo dia, a noite toda, com muita bebida e som de qualidade. Enchi a casa com meus amigos e festejamos demais. Comprei também uma moto, que já vendi, o celular também já vendi e adquiri uns passarinhos caros, que são minha paixão. Não tenho mais nada”, relata Fernando.
Durante os pouco mais de 30 dias de festa e gastança, Fernando aparecia diariamente em vídeos nas redes sociais e, bem humorado, soltava para a câmera o bordão: “Não dá nada”, sempre com uma cerveja na mão. Ele mesmo inventou a frase que ficou famosa e nem sabe o significado. “Só sei que não dá nada e nem deu. Tô aqui, sem dinheiro, mas feliz”, diz.
Fernando aguarda agora uma restituição de R$ 5 mil de Imposto de Renda, segundo ele, para recomeçar a vida em companhia da esposa e de uma filha pequena, morando na mesma casa no bairro Sapucaia. “Vou vender meus picolés sem tristeza, não me arrependo de nada. Dinheiro não é tudo na vida e gastei mesmo. Vivi uns 30 dias de muita festa. E não dá nada”, finaliza Fernando de Arruda.
